Linking science, technology and intellectual property. With this mission in mind, everything is ready to celebrate the first edition of ‘Patents for Innovation’ International Summit & Expo 2022 (P4i 2022) —a technological innovation forum and patent trade fair organised by the Autonomous University of Madrid, Phantoms Foundation, BeAble Capital and Knode, which has the maximum institutional support with partners such as the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the Community of Madrid, the European alliance CIVIS, CSIC, ANDEMA, ENISA and RedTansfer, among others.
The aim of the #P4i 2022 forum is to create the largest European meeting point for knowledge on innovation, which will also lay the foundations for the creation of a market for the transfer of research results and generate opportunities for the sale and purchase of scientific patents.
With this shared purpose, PONS IP has joined P4i 2022 as a Knowledge Partner to contribute our vision and experience in the sector through ‘Beyond technology transfer: A practical vision about Intellectual Property along the innovation cycle’ —a round table that will take place on Thursday 27 from 13:00 to 13:30, moderated by the Strategic Advisor of the Consulting firm, Luis Ignacio Vicente del Olmo , with the participation of Stephen Matlin, Chief Executive Officer de LIFE LENGTH, Enrique Olarte, Open Innovation Coordinator at ENAGÁS and Pepa LimeresCoordinator of Science and Technology Transfer Programmes at FUNDACIÓN BOTÍN.
This round table is part of two intensive days where attendees will have access to a wide range of presentations, workshops and round tables featuring the sector’s leading experts, as well as an exhibition area where they can showcase their ideas and projects. The P4i Expo & Summit will be held at La Nave —Boetticher & Navarro’s former industrial unit— which is now a benchmark space dedicated to innovation and the dissemination of new technologies in the Community of Madrid.
The P4i is a brokerage (or B2B) event, which links all the players in the ecosystem, fostering collaboration between stakeholders for the development of innovative cooperation projects, highlighting the presence of companies and public bodies as important in the innovation ecosystem as the Polytechnic University of Madrid, CDTI, REPSOL, Iberdrola, Microsoft, Merck, Acciona and CEMEX, among others.
