Law degree from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid (1993). Doctorate in Civil Law with Honors from the same university, specializing in Intellectual Property (1996). Stay at the Max-Planck-Institut für Innovation und Wettbewerb (1995-1996). Assistant Doctor Professor at the Universidad San Pablo CEU (Civil Law). Panel member of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center concerning conflicts between trademarks and domain names. Assistant Professor at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE and at the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid, teaching a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property at both universities.
He began his legal practice in 1997 and has since developed his professional experience mainly in the field of Intellectual Property. Broad experience in litigation, arbitration and business consulting, both on a national and international level. He has worked for companies in different sectors: textile, audiovisual, creative industries, energy, construction, and publishing, among others. He has extensive knowledge on international contracting and arbitrations, representing corporations in the IT, telecommunications and audiovisual sectors. Author of several monographs and doctrinal articles specialized in Intellectual Property. Invited as a speaker to various conferences.
He is currently a member of ALADDA, AIPPI and Les International.
