Madrid, May 19, 2022.– PONS IP has held a meeting at Fundación PONS with clients, media and partners to unveil its new digital identity and strategic positioning as a global intellectual property consulting firm. This milestone for PONS IP is the result of a process involving technological transformation, process optimization and service improvement aimed to create solutions that promote strategic decision making and the generation of tangible results through IP.
The new positioning is coupled with the launch of a new website that, based on a customer-centric philosophy, substantially improves usability and user experience by adding features such as the “IP Evaluator”, an online solution where any company can measure the status of its intangible asset portfolio in real time, whether for trademarks, patents or even trade secrets. According to Ana López de Castro, head of the project and Marketing and People Manager, the website is the result of in-depth reflection and market research to offer the agile and immediate solutions demanded by today’s users. Furthermore, our new digital identity shows the added value that IP offers when perceived as a fundamental pillar of the overall business strategy rather than a formality. Protecting is much more than registering.
IP Evaluator completes a range of technology-based online solutions that will be accessible through the website. Thus,PONS IPwill continue to promote proprietary solutions such as ALERTA for comprehensive trademark surveillance against attempts of identical or similar registrations, infringements, counterfeiting and misuse or SAFE EVIDENCE, a legaltech solution that combines qualified time stamps and advanced electronic signature with Blockchain technology, offering security and legal support for all types of documents or digital information.
In this transition towards the new digital ecosystem,PONS IP has also strengthened its brand and is now protected in Nice classes 9, 35, 36, 42 and 45 as of 2022, in order to act with utmost security from an intellectual property point of view in interactive software projects and interactive software based on artificial intelligence, as well as protect non fungible tokens (NFT), encryption devices and downloadable software to manage cryptocurrency transactions using blockchain technology and downloadable virtual products for use online and in online virtual worlds such as the metaverse, and serve in a new transformation to suit new realities.
A new structure for a new age: this is the new PONS IP
PONS IP’s strategic transformation in the image and provision of services also involves a new internal structure that, going beyond the firm, agency and consulting company concept, is integrated into five verticals to deliver a renewed value proposal adapted to the demand of the more than 27,000 clients that the company currently has. Thus, PONS IP adapts to the new technological and innovation scenarios with the following service areas as an intellectual property consulting firm: Trademarks and Brand Intelligence; Patents, Technological Development and Innovation, Privacy, Data Protection and Information Security, Intangible Assets Valuationand TMT Technology, Media & Telecom.
For Nuria Marcos, PONS IP General Manager, this evolution of PONS IP “combines experience and digitalization to generate unique solutions that increase the value of organizations. Based on a precise vision of the critical place that IP occupies in the overall business strategy, we want to achieve tangible results from intangible assets for our clients by transforming their ideas into value and making the intangible tangible”.
The event at the Fundación was attended by two of the international leaders in innovation and new technologies.
